Martial Arts Fitness for Parents and Children Ages 0-5
We're pleased to announce our new training program for parents and children ages 0-5. This program is designed for parents and children to exercise, learn and play with a martial arts flair. Children develop perseverance, self control, courage and respect. Combine sports, karate, life lesson stories, exploration and education through our fun fitness curriculum. Participants learn about our training characters who aid in teaching the children valuable life lessons through character statement, stories, games and exercises.
0-18 Months (Wednesdays at 9 a.m.)
This class allows parents to workout AND play with their baby. Each exercise is carefully designed so that the parent benefits while their baby is included and learning too! Imagine a class where you get to spend 45 minutes of your time exercising, dancing and exploring props and objects with your baby.
18-36 Months (Wednesdays at 10 a.m.)
This curriculum is designed for parents and toddlers to develop a lifelong love of physical exercise, exploration and learning together. Each class will explore basic motor and social skills, increased physical strength, flexibility and coordination by employing introductory martial art skills and fitness concepts. Awareness of spatial and perceptual concepts, self-expression and a greater independence are encouraged and celebrated.
3-4 Years (Wednesdays at 11 a.m.)
This curriculum nurtures your child’s independence and encourages a positive attitude toward physical exercise through basic martial arts techniques and fitness concepts. Children develop balance, coordination, body awareness and motor skills which help emphasize flexibility, confidence and emotional well-being.
